Ashley Mikita

I have been involved with music since childhood and one of

my favorite things to do as a kid was sit at the piano and

make up songs or figure out how to play my favorite songs.

Aside from self-study, I have taken piano and voice lessons

and have participated in choral ensembles from middle school to

the collegiate level. I am currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree

in jazz studies with emphasis in vocal performance and music education.

I’m excited to be a part of the S.P. Music School team and help my students learn

and find joy in music!

Carol Chen

I grew up in a family where music is a part of our everyday life, with everyone

playing at least one instrument. I've been playing music for over 10 years and have

performed in concerts and recitals, both solo as well as in group symphonies. My main

musical focus has typically been classical music but I'm always happy to explore more genres

since I love listening to, and playing, all different types of music.

Danny Herrera

I’ve been pursuing music since the age of 9.

I started learning piano for 5 years and learned basic Music Theory through the keys,

that then helped me transition to other instruments as I progressed. I taught myself the

guitar at 16 and picked up Ukulele quickly after that. I enjoy all types and genres of music

and am passionate for teaching and helping other people find their love for music!
